Daniel Burt, The Khalili Research Centre, Oxford
Daniel works in IT Support and Software Development, but has been designing both board games and digital games as a hobby since his childhood. Daniel was responsible for the initial project proposal and, having successfully pitched the project to both the ALHOM project team and the Wellcome Trust, he was responsible for planning the project and putting it into action. His main role in the project was the design and development of the various game prototypes, along with helping with the organisation and running of regular public play testing events and other public engagement activities. He was also responsible for building this website. |

Christopher Parkin, History of Science Museum, Oxford
Christopher has a background in science education with masters’ degrees in Curriculum Studies, Science Communication, and Renaissance Studies. After 15 years of teaching science in London secondary schools, he took up the post of education officer at the Museum of the History of Science, Oxford, in 2004.
Christopher has led the development of the Museum’s education programme in coordination with the Oxford University Museums Partnership. He has experience of working with a wide range of audiences from schools to higher education, families and adults, and of coordinating partnership learning projects. He has a particular interest in the history of science, and links between science and art. |

Sukie Trowles, History of Science Museum, Oxford
Sukie graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in history and has since been working in heritage education. Her role in the project is to research and develop new school and family friendly programmes to engage students and visitors with the museum’s rich Islamic collections and the fascinating medical history of the medieval Islamic world. |
